Florida reports a record 151,764 new COVID-19 cases, 47,513 projected deaths by Nov 1st

The CDC listed Florida with 23,933 new cases and The Florida Hospital Association confirmed 15,358 hospitalizations. The state is reporting 29 more deaths. This is the highest daily infection count since the beginning of the pandemic.


50% of the state’s population have completed the two-dose series of Pfizer-BioNTech or Moderna, or have completed Johnson & Johnson’s single-dose vaccine, according to the CDC. Most recent projections estimate a total projected death count of 50,513 by November 1st, an increase of about 3,000 deaths from today.
